چکیده
Lignin is a major waste product of biofuel and paper industries that can be used as modifier to improve the relevant properties asphalt. To investigate effect lignin formic acid wood incorporations into asphalt on binder was unaged aged for 85 min, 5 h, 10 series tests were conducted, including high- low-temperature rheological by dynamic shear rheometer (DSR), followed Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) tests, finally gel permeation chromatography (GPC). The test results show additions could high-temperature performance fatigue capacity In addition, at glass-transition temperature, it observed effectively cracking low temperatures; however, quantity should controlled. showed purity treated with decreased, degradation formylation same acid-treated occurred, indicating underwent chemical changes following treatment. analysis (GPC) that, aging, average molecular weight (Mw) lignin-modified decreased. reason cracked during which reduced their weights.

15 صفحه اولA Study on the Rheological Properties of Recycled Rubber-Modified Asphalt Mixtures
Using waste rubber in asphalt mixes has become a common practice in road construction. This paper presents the results of a study on the rheological characteristics of rubber-modified asphalt (RMA) concrete under static and dynamic loading conditions. A number of static and dynamic creep tests were conducted on RMA mix specimens with different rubber sizes and contents, and a series of resonant...
متن کاملRheological Properties and Chemical Bonding of Asphalt Modified with Nanosilica
The objective of this study is to evaluate the rheological properties and chemical bonding of nano-modified asphalt binders blended with nanosilica. In this study, the nanosilica was added to the control asphalt at contents of 4% and 6% based on the weight of asphalt binders. Superpave binder and mixture tests were utilized in this study to estimate the characteristics of the nano-modifed aspha...
متن کاملEffect of Reclaimed rubber Modification on the Rheological Properties and Rutting Resistance of Asphalt Binders
In this paper, the effect of reclaimed rubber modification on the rheological characteristics of asphalt binders is studied. Reclaimed rubber with the extent of 12, 16 and 20 is added to the neat asphalt binder and then shear complex modulus is obtained for neat and modified asphalt binder via Dynamic Shear Rheometer (DSR) test. Using Christensen-Anderson- Marasteanu (CAM) model, master curves ...
متن کاملInvestigating the Creep Properties of PET-Modified Asphalt Concrete
This study has investigated the creep properties of asphaltic concrete modified with different dosages of waste polyethylene terephthalate (PET) in two different ranges of size. Uniaxial dynamic creep test at 40°C was conducted on the cylindrical specimens of the mixtures. The load was applied in two different frequencies of 0.5 and 5Hz. Creep test results showed that the accumulated strain und...
